I was able to travel again to Batanes last weekend, but this time with Martin and my mom (plus my sister again!). This is officially my favorite place on earth, aside from the beautiful Maldives. This place makes a Filipino proud to be one! And since I cannot capture from just my camera the beautiful sceneries and landscapes of Batanes, I made sure to bring Winnie the Drone (yes, I name my gadgets) with us to somehow show you what this paradise looks like from above! But I must say that this still does not give justice how this looks like in real life. If you get the chance, make sure to add this to your bucketlist. I can’t believe this beautiful place exists in our very own country. 🙂 Pilipinas, napaka ganda mo 🙂

A short but sweet vacation in Sydney last October 2016 after 12 years of waiting to go back. When I first went here when I was 13, I remember having the most amazing time! I get to climb the Harbour Bridge, visit the Opera House, get to watch my sisters skydive (I know what you’re thinking… why did I just watch them do skydiving? It was because I was a year early to be permitted to do it!), go to Featherdale Zoo to see some koalas and kangaroos, and they were adorably stinky! <3

This time, I was able to do more or less the same things I did the first time I visited. Toured the same old Blue Mountains and Scenic World, went to the city and stayed at Intercontinental Hotel, checked out Bondi Beach(!!!), and did skydiving finally! I also got to meet some of my friends who are now based in Sydney, and yahoo for making new friends as well! <3 Nothing beats catching up with good old friends.

I don’t know if most of you know, but I have never really traveled to anywhere below 0 degrees except last January when I went to Korea during winter. I tell you, I was rejoicing whenever I’d check the temp and see 0 degrees because that’s considered warm already. Yes, warm… at 0 degrees! Usually, it was about -2 to and would drop to -8 degrees Celsius. Crazy, right?

If you’re wondering what a person brings when traveling to cold countries and where to get them, I’ve listed them here! 🙂

It’s been a few weeks since I traveled to Batanes, and I must say that the place left me in awe and I still haven’t moved on from it. It was spectacular. I don’t want to sound biased, but if I had to pick which one’s the best between New Zealand and Batanes, I’d choose Batanes. It was so beautiful that I could go ranting on forever and ever and never justify it still.

El Nido has always been a dream. It’s one of my dream destinations to be able to see the world class islands we have and finally ticked that off my bucket list when my Irish friend decided to do an Australian-Asia tour last July! 🙂

I know there are now crazy seat sales made possible by Cebu Pacific, but I’m not the kind to enjoy long road trips so I made sure that if I visit El Nido, I’d fly straight to El Nido even if it’s more expensive *cue tears here*

BIG FAT YES!! I ticked off my number 1 in my bucket list after 24 freaking years, and I must say it was the scariest, most thrilling experience of my life. I was low key panicking for a week before my skydive. You have no clue how I was counting down the days and hours before my death. HAHAHA. My sisters went skydiving when I was 13 (that was 12 years ago!) and I wasn’t able to try it then since they allowed 14 years old and up to skydive, but now was my chance!
